SHIPPING POLICY

Made to Muse Trading L.L.C  |  Effective: May 2026  |  Dubai, UAE

 

1. Overview

Made to Muse Trading L.L.C ships exclusively to the United Arab Emirates and GCC countries. All shipments originate from our fulfilment centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

2. Shipping Zones & Rates

Shipping is charged as a flat rate based on destination:

 

Zone 1 — UAE (All Emirates)

Flat rate: AED 35

 

Zone 2 — GCC (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar)

Flat rate: AED 65

 

All rates are in AED and include standard handling and packaging.

3. Estimated Delivery Times

Business days are Monday through Saturday, excluding public holidays. Orders are processed within 1–2 business days before dispatch.

 

UAE

–      Standard: Next Day Delivery (orders placed before 4:00 PM)

–      Same Day Delivery in Dubai: available for orders placed before 2:00 PM

 

GCC

–      Standard: 3–7 Business Days

 

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to customs processing, carrier schedules, or circumstances beyond our control.

4. Customs, Duties & Taxes

All shipments — including GCC — are dispatched on Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) terms. Any customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees, or other governmental charges at the destination are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Made to Muse has no control over these charges and cannot estimate their amount in advance. Customs-related delays do not entitle the customer to a refund of shipping charges.

5. Additional Charges

–      Remote Area Surcharge (UAE): AED 10 for deliveries to designated remote areas

–      Remote Area Surcharge (GCC): 1.5x the standard shipping rate for remote areas

–      Address Correction Fee: AED 50 for shipments with incomplete or incorrect delivery addresses

–      Overweight / Oversized Shipments: orders exceeding standard weight or dimensional limits may incur additional carrier surcharges

6. Order Processing & Cut-Off Times

Orders are processed Monday to Saturday. The following cut-off times apply:

–      Same Day Delivery (Dubai only): order before 2:00 PM

–      Next Day Delivery (UAE): order before 4:00 PM

–      GCC: dispatched within 1–2 business days of order confirmation

 

Orders placed after cut-off times, on Sundays, or on public holidays will be processed the next working day.

7. Undeliverable & Returned Orders

If an order cannot be delivered due to recipient refusal, an incorrect or incomplete address, or any other reason beyond our control, the following applies:

–      The original shipping charge is non-refundable

–      Cancellations after pick and pack is completed but before dispatch incur a AED 10 cancellation fee

 

UAE Returns

–      Reverse pick-up charges may apply

GCC Returns

–      Return shipping costs, any customs duties, clearance fees, and applicable governmental charges will be deducted from the refunded amount

 

8. Weight & Dimensions

Chargeable weight is the greater of actual gross weight or volumetric weight, calculated as:

 

Volumetric Weight (kg) = Length (cm) × Width (cm) × Height (cm) ÷ 5,000

 

Any shipment weighing more than 50 kg is subject to customs duty irrespective of declared value.
